Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torres Guisasola started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes, Buenaventura's Rodolfo Bozo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yiyo Caballeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buenaventura reached it. When Buenaventura's Torres Guisasola in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ceuceda's goalie prevented a goal. If Victorio Dozal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Buenaventura's Teofilo Baraona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Castejon in the 12th minute of play. Neicer Aguileta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uriel Avalo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceuceda's protests and gave Uriel Avalo a yellow card for diving instead. Uriel Avalo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Rey Piedrahita charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rey Piedrahita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ceuceda getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rey Piedrahita hit a great ball. Neicer Aguileta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 41st playminute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Castejon to strike the kick off in the second half. Yiyo Caballeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Dozal in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Buenaventura booed when Ceuceda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rey Piedrahita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Victorio Dozal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Castejon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neicer Aguileta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Baraona having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Gabriel Castejon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceuceda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Castejon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Torres Guisasola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Castejon might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teofilo Baraona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Castejon ran back to his position shaking his head. González Alcivia struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Yiyo Caballeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buenaventura. Yiyo Caballeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torres Guisasola in the 82nd minute of play. Roman Peñuelas charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Peñuelas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Buenaventura:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ceuceda:s goal. Isaias Navas placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Torres Guisasola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Yiyo Caballeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yiyo Caballeiro made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Victorio Dozal sent off a good shot on target. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
