Rocio Almendras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carcelén Varona's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Mompiche's Leoverliz Braojos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Depino in the 33rd minute of play. If Erick Guardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Algarrobera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Selgas to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Zarbonin Larrieta from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Rocio Almendras's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 40th minute, Erick Guardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lisandro Panizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Joel Depino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Lisandro Panizo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Panizo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Depino was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Mompiche booed when Algarrobera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramirez Achiaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carcelén Varona took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rocio Almendras. Rocio Almendras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Mompiche getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Francisco Sanjurjo hit a great ball. When Lisandro Panizo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Algarrobera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Panizo couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Carcelén Varona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rocio Almendras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erick Guardo in the 64th minute of play. Ramirez Achiaga kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Erick Guardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Erick Guardo sped through Algarrobera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rocio Almendras. 76 minutes into the match, Algarrobera's goal looked a bit too open when Erick Guardo came free, but Rocio Almendras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carcelén Varona in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rocio Almendras saved Algarrobera from getting behind. In the 78th minute Erick Guardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocio Almendras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lavalle Meruendano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Carcelén Varona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocio Almendras having to interfere. In the 85th minute Carcelén Varona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocio Almendras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes of play, Mompiche's Erick Guardo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rocio Almendras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mompiche's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
