In the 45th match minute, Super Campeones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Paracuellos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 48 minutes, Amador Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC METALICA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The FC METALICA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Super Campeones were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Leizaur to make the kick off. Yánez Marcha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Elkin Matias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elkin Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
