Leoverliz Fuertes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Alvarez Bustillo made a huge save. Raimundo Caneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valencia Ortiz having to interfere. Alvarez Bustillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Iruretagoyena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paolo Puentes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alvarez Bustillo made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Paolo Puentes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
