Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cotera Sotuela got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes Seurcel FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos-Armando Llorens. After a rather tough play, Tumbes's Krikorian Pantigoso got a free kick in the 6th minute. Krikorian Pantigoso hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Alberto Morelle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Barbajero in the 9th minute of the match. When Tyrone Manes came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Seurcel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyrone Manes couldn't finish the play. De-la-Cruz Gorostieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Luciano Chicoime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Urrutia Brasa came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Seurcel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urrutia Brasa couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Erwin Barbajero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tumbes's Alberto Morelle. Alberto Morelle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes, Tenorio Caroso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tumbes and the Seurcel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Tumbes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tenorio Caroso to maneuver through the defense. Angel Baiges's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Alberto Morelle - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 25th minute. Urrutia Brasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Morelle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Barbajero in the 31st minute of play forced Tumbes's goalkeeper Alberto Morelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramos Zubieta hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Alberto Morelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urrutia Brasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Urrutia Brasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macías Bonechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alberto Morelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tumbes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Krikorian Pantigoso hit a great ball. The Tumbes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seurcel FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erwin Barbajero to make the kick off. Seurcel FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Tumbes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angel Baiges took the corner. Seurcel FC's Angel Baiges was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alberto Morelle in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Erwin Barbajero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Tumbes's Cotera Sotuela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luciano Chicoime made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some careless play in the Tumbes defense, Urrutia Brasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Morelle. The Tumbes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Morelle should have stopped the shot. Luciano Chicoime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cotera Sotuela in the 76th minute of the match. Luciano Chicoime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cotera Sotuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urrutia Brasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Alberto Morelle made a huge save. De-la-Cruz Gorostieta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramos Zubieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Chicoime having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Seurcel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cotera Sotuela came free, but Luciano Chicoime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urrutia Brasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Alberto Morelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Barbajero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seurcel FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
