Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mauro Combarros got the match started through his kick off. Ubelteso Ortega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. George Morellana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Morellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubelteso Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Ingueza's Villagra Bevia got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ubelteso Ortega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ingueza's Villagra Bevia got a free kick in the 17th minute. George Morellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villagra Bevia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubelteso Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Morellana having to interfere. Walter Cerillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Combarros, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute C.A. Rio Guayas were awarded a corner. Cortez Ferreiro went to the cornerflag to take it. Javier Hondon in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walter Cerillo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. George Morellana came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Ingueza's Ubelteso Ortega. But to his dismay, Ubelteso Ortega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubelteso Ortega to strike the kick off in the second half. George Morellana came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ingueza's Villagra Bevia. But to his dismay, Villagra Bevia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ubelteso Ortega was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Ingueza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Villagra Bevia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Ubelteso Ortega made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Rio Guayas's George Morellana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. George Morellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubelteso Ortega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ubelteso Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Rio Guayas's George Morellana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villagra Bevia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Ubelteso Ortega fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubelteso Ortega in the 88th minute of play forced C.A. Rio Guayas's goalkeeper George Morellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Ubelteso Ortega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubelteso Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Ubelteso Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Rio Guayas's George Morellana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ubelteso Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
