The wind increased when Teofilio Fandiño made the kick off in the second half. If Alvaro Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Francisco Aubert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente del Valle's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Aubert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitor Veidazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Independiente del Valle's goal looked a bit too open when Xavieon Mollinedo came free, but Joaquin Laranga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xavieon Mollinedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Laranga having to interfere. Teofilio Fandiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Madinabeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Laranga having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Emilio Madinabeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Laranga. Independiente del Valle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Madinabeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chants of Coloso FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Independiente del Valle had held the ball for most of the match.
