Piezza Fútbol Club's Alonzo Solorzano got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Guceño might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Uriona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Guceño ran back to his position shaking his head. Demetrio Uriona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Guceño in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Guapulo SC's zone, Alonzo Solorzano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Uriona came out of the goal and Alonzo Solorzano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piezza Fútbol Club's Luis Villaba pulled a muscle in his back after 13 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 13 minutes into the game, Yambay Tanasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guapulo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piezza Fútbol Club the free kick. If Pablo Guceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavierlada Anaya during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Piezza Fútbol Club booed when Guapulo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavierlada Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Texeira Doral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piezza Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Texeira Doral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demetrio Uriona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 minutes, Venceslas Tomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guapulo SC and the Piezza Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Guapulo SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute Xavierlada Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Alcalde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Guceño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Pablo Guceño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Demetrio Uriona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guapulo SC's goalkeeper Demetrio Uriona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alonzo Solorzano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Guceño in the 36th minute of play forced Guapulo SC's goalkeeper Demetrio Uriona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piezza Fútbol Club's Pablo Guceño got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Yambay Zarzuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demetrio Uriona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Guceño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Zunbeltz Caceres made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Piezza Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vidal Agriano hit a great ball. When Pablo Guceño came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Piezza Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Guceño couldn't finish the play. Piezza Fútbol Club's Texeira Doral got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Guceño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demetrio Uriona was a little too slow when Vidal Agriano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. Pablo Guceño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Demetrio Uriona made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Guapulo SC's goalkeeper Demetrio Uriona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Guceño. Xavierlada Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Alcalde having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Guceño got free with Demetrio Uriona in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Yambay Zarzuelo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Piezza Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yambay Zarzuelo couldn't finish the play. If Pablo Guceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Vidal Agriano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piezza Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vidal Agriano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Guceño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Demetrio Uriona managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Piezza Fútbol Club's Pablo Guceño fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Demetrio Uriona stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Texeira Doral's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Pablo Guceño might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Uriona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Guceño ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Guceño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Uriona having to interfere. When the match was over Piezza Fútbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guapulo SC throughout the match.
