Francisco Aubert might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitor Veidazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Aubert ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the match, Coloso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilio Fandiño came free, but Vitor Veidazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilio Fandiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vitor Veidazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Independiente del Valle's Joaquin Laranga got control of the ball when Emilio Madinabeitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teofilio Fandiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Teofilio Fandiño notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Coloso FC's Vitor Veidazar. Vitor Veidazar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Emilio Madinabeitia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coloso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Madinabeitia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Laranga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Independiente del Valle's Francisco Aubert got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilio Fandiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Independiente del Valle were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavieon Mollinedo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Francisco Aubert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vitor Veidazar. Francisco Aubert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Teofilio Fandiño took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Vitor Veidazar to make any attempt to save it. Joaquin Laranga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Madinabeitia in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Independiente del Valle's Teofilio Fandiño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitor Veidazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Teofilio Fandiño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Vitor Veidazar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teofilio Fandiño's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vitor Veidazar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jorge Toca kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Joaquin Laranga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Madinabeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Coloso FC booed when Independiente del Valle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Toca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Coloso FC's zone, Francisco Aubert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitor Veidazar came out of the goal and Francisco Aubert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilio Fandiño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Vitor Veidazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Independiente del Valle's Francisco Aubert got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilio Fandiño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Vitor Veidazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Coloso FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independiente del Valle were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
