Pedro Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Checa Saa, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Enrique Onez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Arturo Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapote's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Mata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Onez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Mattsson got free with Enrique Onez in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Arturo Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Mårten Mattsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enrique Onez, passed just outside the right post. When the match was over Sapote could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GUALACEO SPORTING CLUB throughout the match.
