A collision led to Churin SC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sánchez Rocafort hit a great ball. Gómez Pedraja charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gómez Pedraja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Churin SC booed when Javilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gómez Pedraja didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Javilla getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gómez Pedraja hit a great ball. Mauricio Victorica took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Vegas. Javilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Churin SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sánchez Rocafort to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Javilla's Urtzi Villayres broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Churin SC's goalkeeper Wladyslaw Brack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Churin SC's Vela Casuso got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Javilla's Mario Vegas got control of the ball when Juan-Angel Miar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Juan-Angel Miar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churin SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan-Angel Miar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Vegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vela Casuso in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Vegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Federico Gadano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Wladyslaw Brack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wladyslaw Brack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevez Lira in the 53rd minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Churin SC got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Angel Miar. After 79 played minutes Javilla got a freekick which was hit by Estevez Lira. Juan-Angel Miar struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mario Vegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Churin SC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vela Casuso in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Vegas saved Javilla from getting behind. 89 minutes into the match, Javilla's goal looked a bit too open when Vela Casuso came free, but Mario Vegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juan-Angel Miar came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Churin SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Angel Miar couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Juan-Angel Miar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Vegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute, Juan-Angel Miar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Churin SC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
