The supporters of Georgetown Coconia FC booed when Villacres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bone Tojedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paiva Prellezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Bengoechea having to interfere. The Georgetown Coconia FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Georgetown Coconia FC's Xurde Petri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augusto Cadena struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alfredo Bengoechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Georgetown Coconia FC. The Georgetown Coconia FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Georgetown Coconia FC's Xurde Petri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Villacres FC's Alfredo Bengoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurde Petri in the 21st minute of play. If Paiva Prellezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vedillo Concepcion came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Georgetown Coconia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vedillo Concepcion couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the game, Georgetown Coconia FC's Ulisses Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Bengoechea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 29 played minutes Villacres FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Luan. In the 30th minute of the match Xurdin Naveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Bengoechea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Villacres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xurde Petri came free, but Alfredo Bengoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Villacres FC's Macías Palomar got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Georgetown Coconia FC's Xurdin Naveira got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xurde Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alfredo Bengoechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Xurde Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Georgetown Coconia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xurde Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chatruc Inguanzo charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chatruc Inguanzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Georgetown Coconia FC's goalkeeper Pancho Ansola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Miguel Muriedas during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Georgetown Coconia FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jose Miguel Muriedas hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Paiva Prellezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Georgetown Coconia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paiva Prellezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pancho Ansola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatruc Inguanzo in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Xurde Petri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredo Bengoechea, 0-5. If Vedillo Concepcion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Ulisses Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Bengoechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Xurde Petri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Alfredo Bengoechea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georgetown Coconia FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
