Urtungo Arellanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector-Luis Tornamira having to interfere. If Pico Leizaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xamo Casavela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pico Leizaur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicentina FC's Hector-Luis Tornamira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Vicentina FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 42 minutes, Pico Leizaur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vicentina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pico Leizaur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xan Illanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Hector-Luis Tornamira made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricart Goveo made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Moreno Aleso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vicentina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Xamo Casavela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricart Goveo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute.
