The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Corcoba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aragón Bringas got free with Fernandez Capell in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aragón Bringas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walme Mediavilla in the 68th minute of play forced Estudiantes de la Plata's goalkeeper Fernandez Capell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sacachispa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de la Plata the free kick.
