The referee ignored UD Cadeate's protests and gave Segundo Monesterio a yellow card for diving instead. Segundo Monesterio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. When Cornelio Murua fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United F.C.'s protests and gave Cornelio Murua a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manchester United F.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cornelio Murua hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Robin Negral managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Cadeate's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Negral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Doles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of UD Cadeate booed when Manchester United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Trasloseros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, UD Cadeate's Robin Negral got a free kick in the 31st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Armando Broz put in a rough tackle. Roberto Sierro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Doles having to interfere. Wilson Doles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Sierro in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match UD Cadeate got a corner. Manchester United F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brito Llanderas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led UD Cadeate's Roberto Sierro to a score. 2-0 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Roberto Sierro made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Sierro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, Frutos Romeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United F.C. and the UD Cadeate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frutos Romeo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Frutos Villamizar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Negral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wilson Doles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Sierro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Roberto Sierro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Doles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
