Canelos FC's Vladimiro Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Remirez in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Canelos FC's Camilo Zaitegui seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Zaitegui the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Canelos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Zaitegui had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of Canelos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Charupi. Uhin Solarriba stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vladimiro Lira. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Hernandez Zalon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Charupi's Fabricio Marichal. Fabricio Marichal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Remirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Lira having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Barros Almonacid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Hernandez Zalon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canelos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernandez Zalon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Marichal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes Charupi got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Jara. With his leg Fabricio Marichal managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Canelos FC's Hernandez Zalon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Hernandez Zalon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canelos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Vladimiro Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Remirez in the 36th minute of the match. Canelos FC's Vladimiro Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Remirez in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Charupi's goalkeeper Fabricio Marichal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernandez Zalon. Hernandez Zalon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabricio Marichal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

José-Francisco Rabin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Vladimiro Lira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Oscar Molinillo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canelos FC's protests and gave Oscar Molinillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, one of Canelos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canelos FC. Uhin Solarriba walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If José-Francisco Rabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Remirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Rogerio Pavieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match, José-Francisco Rabin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vladimiro Lira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Patricio Remirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Lira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Barros Almonacid showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 78 minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Canelos FC's goal looked a bit too open when José-Francisco Rabin came free, but Vladimiro Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canelos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venceslas Canzino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes in the game, José-Francisco Rabin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vladimiro Lira having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Charupi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
