Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Gainzarain in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romo Ubach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Rubio Barrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chalá Pedros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Francisco Gainzarain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romo Ubach having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Gainzarain in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romo Ubach saved Los Millonarios Apk from getting behind. Romo Ubach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Gainzarain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot by Mario Seron from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Chalá Pedros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Chalá Pedros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Rosello in the 44th minute of play. Rubio Barrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Chalá Pedros made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Felipe Lujan's late challenge caught a CD Madera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Lujan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th minute, Felipe Lujan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los Millonarios Apk's zone, Hector Sirguero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romo Ubach came out of the goal and Hector Sirguero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Sirguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romo Ubach having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Los Millonarios Apk's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Gainzarain came free, but Romo Ubach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Madera's Hector Sirguero got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Sirguero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Clavijo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Isaias Clavijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubio Barrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Chalá Pedros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hugo Galdo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Millonarios Apk's protests and gave Hugo Galdo a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Los Millonarios Apk got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Galdo.
