Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ximeno Olea started the match with the kick off. Ximeno Olea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yanacocha SC's zone, Rey Vidrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Pardemanos came out of the goal and Rey Vidrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Xalvador Arbieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Rey Vidrio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batista Pardemanos. Yanacocha SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rey Vidrio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, UD Pinantura's Rey Vidrio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Batista Pardemanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Ximeno Olea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Pardemanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Vidrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Batista Pardemanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batista Pardemanos made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Yánez Neila sent off a good shot on target. Batista Pardemanos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ximeno Olea in the 26th minute. Batista Pardemanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey Vidrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 37 minutes, Xalvador Arbieto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Pinantura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xalvador Arbieto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Yanacocha SC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leonides Betanzos hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Betanzos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Graziani Monta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Batista Pardemanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Ximeno Olea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Pardemanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, UD Pinantura's Rey Vidrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batista Pardemanos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Xalvador Arbieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Batista Pardemanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Graziani Monta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rey Vidrio in the 67th minute of play forced Yanacocha SC's goalkeeper Batista Pardemanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xalvador Arbieto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Batista Pardemanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Pinantura. When Rey Vidrio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the UD Pinantura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Vidrio couldn't finish the play. Xalvador Arbieto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Pardemanos having to interfere. Yánez Neila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ximeno Olea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ximeno Olea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Batista Pardemanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yanacocha SC's zone, Ximeno Olea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Pardemanos came out of the goal and Ximeno Olea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Betanzos during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Yanacocha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Betanzos to maneuver through the defense. UD Pinantura's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
