In the 19th match minute, Yanacocha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Betanzos to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yanacocha SC's zone, Antonio Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batista Pardemanos came out of the goal and Antonio Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batista Pardemanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from De-Jesús Oropesa in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, C. D. LA TOLITA's goal looked a bit too open when Yambay Pardabu came free, but Jaime Vijil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, C. D. Yambay Pardabu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Martin Janer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. D. LA TOLITA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Janer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when De-Jesús Oropesa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Batista Pardemanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Bartolome in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Ordóñez Cantera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C. D. LA TOLITA's Jaime Vijil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save C. D. LA TOLITA from getting a goal against them. Yambay Pardabu came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jaime Vijil could save by the left post. In the 70th minute, Martin Janer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leonides Betanzos came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Yanacocha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Betanzos couldn't finish the play. Martin Janer kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of C. D. LA TOLITA booed when Yanacocha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paúl Velez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
