He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Vaz in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Gudmundsson saved ENRIQUE FC from getting behind. With a little luck, ENRIQUE FC's Jimmy Gudmundsson got control of the ball when Segio Briseño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humberto Frecha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jimmy Gudmundsson made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Ubarna Cuerva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, ENRIQUE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Vaz came free, but Jimmy Gudmundsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Frecha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Humberto Frecha came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Pichincha SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Frecha couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Vaz in the 61st minute of play forced ENRIQUE FC's goalkeeper Jimmy Gudmundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Igor Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pichincha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Gudmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimmy Gudmundsson came out of the goal and Humberto Frecha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmy Gudmundsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Frecha in the 81st minute of the match. Igor Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jimmy Gudmundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Igor Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pichincha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Humberto Frecha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jimmy Gudmundsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Humberto Frecha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pichincha SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ENRIQUE FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
