The ball had pretty good speed, but Yader Sambrano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Victoro Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Fabricio Bustos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yader Sambrano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Barcelona S.C.'s Moises Rois slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paolo Beranga. That made the score 3-2 after 82 minutes of play. In the 87th minute, Xuan Talaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 89 minutes on the clock, Cuero Bolantin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Lastra Ruano struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Yader Sambrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Portugal. Yader Sambrano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Bustos's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Club Portugal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
