Paolo Beranga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Lopez Pantojas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Beranga. Club Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lopez Pantojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Paolo Beranga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Martinena in the 71st minute of play. Dästen Heinz's Romeu Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Bustos in the 77th minute of play forced Dästen Heinz's goalkeeper Xulian Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xulian Trigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Bustos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
