In the 38thth minute of the game Yaniusky Villalaud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente Del Valle's Ariel Guridi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Campon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independiente Del Valle's Reyes Folguera got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Nicolas Monzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzanapata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Monzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Guridi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yaniusky Villalaud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Guridi having to make a save. If Nicolas Monzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Manzanapata FC's Nicolas Monzon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Guridi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Manzanapata FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Salas Malsepica hit a great ball. Nando Becerril showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes Folguera in the 93rd minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Yaniusky Villalaud recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ariel Guridi. Yaniusky Villalaud showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When the match was over Manzanapata FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Independiente Del Valle throughout the match.
