Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Gualayo's Candelario Cardillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Martinez Fuica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from De-la-Cruz Ganchegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Gualayo's Martinez Fuica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joffre Pillado in the 7th minute of play. Rey Muruve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Paúl Iruretagoyena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gualayo's zone, Joffre Pillado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martinez Fuica came out of the goal and Joffre Pillado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 17 in the game by Rey Muruve from a close distance when the talented Paúl Iruretagoyena managed to make a qualified save. Club Monte Sinahi's players were relieved. In the 20th minute Rey Muruve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paúl Iruretagoyena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Eduardo Escanciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Monte Sinahi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gualayo the free kick. The supporters of Gualayo booed when Club Monte Sinahi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Escanciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Joffre Pillado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Monte Sinahi's supporters rose to their feet, but Joffre Pillado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martinez Fuica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rey Muruve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Rey Muruve came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gualayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Muruve couldn't finish the play. Rey Muruve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paúl Iruretagoyena having to interfere. Urbasa Barbajero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paúl Iruretagoyena having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Club Monte Sinahi got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Escanciano. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rey Muruve made the kick off in the second half. Rey Muruve's late challenge caught a Club Monte Sinahi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rey Muruve helped the player get up and apologised. Rey Muruve hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Eduardo Escanciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Monte Sinahi's Eduardo Escanciano got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Eduardo Escanciano off the ground. A collision led to Club Monte Sinahi getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eduardo Escanciano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Brieba in the 76th minute of play forced Club Monte Sinahi's goalkeeper Paúl Iruretagoyena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Montemiuño took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paúl Iruretagoyena. Paúl Iruretagoyena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gualayo had won after a very even match.
