An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Cerillo in the 11th minute of play forced Cuasha FC's goalkeeper Enrique Calderero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guerreros del Valle FC's Marco Zalaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José-Luis Mariny in the 15th minute of play. José-Luis Mariny scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Zalaca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonel Cerillo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Enrique Calderero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guerreros del Valle FC. When Guerreros del Valle FC's Leonel Cerillo in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guerreros del Valle FC's goalkeeper Marco Zalaca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José-Luis Mariny to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Guerreros del Valle FC's goal looked a bit too open when José-Luis Mariny came free, but Marco Zalaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villota Bolimburus short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Marco Zalaca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 54th minute, Luis Getino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Guerreros del Valle FC's Hidalgo Aquejano tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, José-Luis Mariny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuasha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José-Luis Mariny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Zalaca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Villota Bolimburu got free with Marco Zalaca in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cuasha FC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Guerreros del Valle FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garcia Bocaran took the corner. José-Luis Mariny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Zalaca having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Yoelvis Castorena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villota Bolimburu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Zalaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José-Luis Mariny, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Marco Zalaca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José-Luis Mariny in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guerreros del Valle FC's goalkeeper Marco Zalaca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cuasha FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
