In the 24th minute of the match Patricio Valladolid sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urti Vivera skillfully saved the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Xamin Cabero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cebadas FC's Urti Vivera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Criban Berlanga hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Xamin Cabero put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urti Vivera. 33 minutes into the game, Jonatan Rua recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alessandro Lejalde. Jonatan Rua showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 35th match minute, Cebadas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Manzanedo to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes, Elias Ibias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Guayaquil F.C and the Cebadas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 minutes, Xamin Cabero made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cebadas FC's Urti Vivera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute of the match Bran Andinyach shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urti Vivera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xamin Cabero was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Cebadas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xamin Cabero came free, but Urti Vivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xamin Cabero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urti Vivera having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Jama Calva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Guayaquil F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jama Calva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cebadas FC's Urti Vivera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Cebadas FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Real Guayaquil F.C booed when Cebadas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batista Blas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Cebadas FC's Criban Berlanga made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Lejalde was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Vito Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Manzanedo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Lejalde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vito Manzanedo took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Lejalde. Alessandro Lejalde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 81st minute, Xamin Cabero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batista Blas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cotera Zamarro in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urti Vivera saved Cebadas FC from getting behind. Real Guayaquil F.C's Jama Calva got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
