Vernaza Sedano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salomon Casal having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Sánchez Beneit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Vernaza Sedano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marley and the JCOV FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of JCOV FC booed when Marley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernaza Sedano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leon Viladrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camacho Ribera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Viladrosa struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ignacio Fito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JCOV FC. Camacho Ribera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Salomon Casal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leon Viladrosa made the kick off in the second half. Marley's Vernaza Sedano got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salomon Casal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonio Monelo in the 56th minute of the match. When Leon Viladrosa came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the JCOV FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Viladrosa couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes JCOV FC got a freekick which was hit by Reasco Segovia. If Tonio Monelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reasco Segovia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candelario Ledrado got free with Ignacio Fito in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonio Monelo in the 96th minute of play forced JCOV FC's goalkeeper Salomon Casal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. JCOV FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
