The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Xabat Millares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Xabat Millares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Obregon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Demetrio Obregon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chihuaran's supporters rose to their feet, but Demetrio Obregon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xabat Millares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Carlos Lorca managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Demetrio Obregon made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Lorca in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xabat Millares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Demetrio Obregon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was Perez Ibio who took care of the corner kick. Perez Ibio made a great header on Shushufindi FC's corner, it was just that Chihuaran's Klimovich Cayuso managed to reach the ball for a save. When Chihuaran's Demetrio Obregon in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Chihuaran fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Chihuaran's Demetrio Obregon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the Chihuaran players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
