The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Arranz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manolo Sanjuan saved liga from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Arranz in the 6th minute of play forced liga's goalkeeper Manolo Sanjuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Arranz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo Sanjuan having to interfere. Federico Arranz took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolo Sanjuan. Manolo Sanjuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th match minute, liga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Rojica to maneuver through the defense. Federico Arranz succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Dudu Velasco struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Manolo Sanjuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pugacho SC. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind liga's goalkeeper Manolo Sanjuan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pugacho SC's Darío Reve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Pugacho SC from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franklin Almaguer to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Maximo Saez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manolo Sanjuan. Manolo Sanjuan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fabio Trimiño. A collision led to liga getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mariano Rojica hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Mihail Nae dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manolo Sanjuan, 0-7. Leonel Dodorol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manolo Sanjuan came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Dodorol slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 83rd minute. Maximo Saez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Manolo Sanjuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manolo Sanjuan stood somewhat misplaced when Federico Arranz came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 92 minute. Pugacho SC played a much better game than liga and deserved their victory. The liga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
