Uxio Nabarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guerrero Lorenzo went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veto Almandoz in the 17th minute of play forced Barcelona S.C.'s goalkeeper Faustino Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 18 minutes on the clock, Osvaldo Resco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 19th match minute, Thanatos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Resco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Thanatos FC's zone, Narciso Santoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uxio Nabarro came out of the goal and Narciso Santoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Mina Arriaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uxio Nabarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veto Almandoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Montez having to make a save. Guerrero Lorenzo came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Uxio Nabarro could save by the left post. Faustino Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veto Almandoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morales Caraveo's late challenge caught a Thanatos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morales Caraveo helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Thanatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Zeruko Anton. In the 42nd minute of the match Narciso Santoni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uxio Nabarro skillfully saved the ball. Uxio Nabarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mina Arriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cornelio Andinyach made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona S.C.'s zone, Zeruko Anton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Montez came out of the goal and Zeruko Anton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Cornelio Andinyach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st play minute Zeruko Anton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Faustino Montez. 1-1. After 64 minutes, Sergio Largacha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thanatos FC and the Barcelona S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68th play minutes Guerrero Lorenzo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Uxio Nabarro and just under the crossbar into goal. Uxio Nabarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mina Arriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cornelio Andinyach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thanatos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Andinyach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cornelio Andinyach came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Thanatos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Andinyach couldn't finish the play. Uxio Nabarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mina Arriaga in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Barcelona S.C. booed when Thanatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Largacha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Veto Almandoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guerrero Lorenzo succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. After 92 played minutes Thanatos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Largacha. The Barcelona S.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
