Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Garrido Mañaria successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When KITU's Rosero Checa in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. Blackberry's goalie prevented a goal. Bruno Arichaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosero Checa in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Xavies Berrio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KITU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Carcelén Encia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garrido Mañaria having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Fortunato Santaren notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of KITU's Garrido Mañaria. Garrido Mañaria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Rosero Checa put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Arichaga. Rosero Checa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Fortunato Santaren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Garrido Mañaria. Fortunato Santaren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. KITU's Salomon Eiros got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fortunato Santaren kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. C.S. Blackberry's Bruno Arichaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavies Berrio in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavies Berrio to make the kick off. Xavies Berrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Bruno Arichaga made a huge save. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Xavies Berrio sped through C.S. Blackberry's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruno Arichaga. 58 minutes into the game, KITU's Xavies Berrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Arichaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Xavies Berrio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bruno Arichaga firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, C.S. Blackberry's Bruno Arichaga got control of the ball when Xavies Berrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th match minute, KITU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosero Checa to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Xavies Berrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Arichaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, KITU's Salomon Eiros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-7. Bruno Arichaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosero Checa in the 91st minute of play.
