Frutos Campero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Budzynski struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rodolfo Fandoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamey. After 43 played minutes Vencedores FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Courel. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Frutos Camperos short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Rodolfo Fandoz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 53 minutes into the match, Frutos Campero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vencedores FC's Rodolfo Fandoz. Rodolfo Fandoz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frutos Campero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Quintana Oviedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vencedores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamey the free kick. Quintana Oviedo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Frutos Campero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Fandoz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 64 played minutes Vencedores FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Courel. 68 minutes into the match, Vencedores FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Fandoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frutos Campero. Frutos Campero in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodolfo Fandoz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Manuel Courel fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vencedores FC's protests and gave Manuel Courel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mamey booed when Vencedores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Courel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolo Biñe struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Urritz Lasurtigui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vencedores FC. The supporters of Mamey booed when Vencedores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintana Oviedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mamey's Zoil Farias shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodolfo Fandoz but with some difficulty. Vencedores FC's Rodolfo Fandoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Vencedores FC from getting a goal against them. Valentim Vede charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentim Vede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frutos Campero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Fandoz firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentim Vede in the 84th minute of play forced Vencedores FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Fandoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match, Frutos Campero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rodolfo Fandoz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Mamey left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vencedores FC.
