The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Burbano Boix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tomas Angeriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Rafael Cubilla in the 26th minute really tested Ugaitz Santos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ugaitz Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Rabanal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Quiñónez Adriano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Chantaco's Ugaitz Santos didn't even have to move. Osorio Boñal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ugaitz Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rubén Rabanal made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osorio Boñal in the 53rd minute of play forced Chantaco's goalkeeper Ugaitz Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ugaitz Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubén Rabanal went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zoil Torto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tomas Angeriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Chantaco's Burbano Boix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Angeriz. Tomas Angeriz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. UD Muchiquito's Rubén Rabanal suffered a concussion in the 79th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Americo Graciosa charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Graciosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Chantaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Graciosa to maneuver through the defense. Ugaitz Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osorio Boñal in the 81st minute of play. Burbano Boix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Angeriz having to interfere. If Zoil Torto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, UD Muchiquito's goalkeeper Tomas Angeriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoil Torto. Tomas Angeriz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Zoil Torto sent off a good shot on target.
