The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to UD Muchiquito getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Manuel Portera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Angeriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Marques Pontones hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to UD Muchiquito getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Xzavier Davalos hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, UD Muchiquito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marques Pontones to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Oretga FC defense, Rubén Rabanal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Valpuesta. The Oretga FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Valpuesta should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, UD Muchiquito's Osorio Boñal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Valpuesta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of UD Muchiquito booed when Oretga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montalvo Garriga didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Osorio Boñal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Arvelo's late challenge caught a UD Muchiquito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Arvelo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of UD Muchiquito booed when Oretga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Arvelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Valpuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Rabanal in the 24th minute of the match. Oretga FC's Alfonso Valpuesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osorio Boñal in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, UD Muchiquito's goalkeeper Tomas Angeriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Portera. If Manuel Portera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Oretga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Rabanal came free, but Alfonso Valpuesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubén Rabanal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Rubén Rabanal made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Valpuesta. Oretga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Tomas Angeriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Velaz in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Velaz made a kick off. Quiñónez Adriano's late challenge caught a Oretga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quiñónez Adriano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Quiñónez Adriano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Osorio Boñal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Portera in the 57th minute of play forced UD Muchiquito's goalkeeper Tomas Angeriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Oretga FC's Manuel Portera made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Angeriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfonso Valpuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubén Rabanal in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Rubén Rabanal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Valpuesta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubén Rabanal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alfonso Valpuesta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osorio Boñal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Alfonso Valpuesta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 77th minute, Xzavier Davalos had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Montalvo Garriga during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Montalvo Garriga hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Osorio Boñal came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the UD Muchiquito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osorio Boñal couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Oretga FC's Montalvo Garriga got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Velaz in the 91st minute of play forced UD Muchiquito's goalkeeper Tomas Angeriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osorio Boñal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 93rd minute of the match Montalvo Garriga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Montalvo Garriga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 94th match minute, Oretga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montalvo Garriga to maneuver through the defense.
