In the 12th match minute, Barcelona SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Gamones to maneuver through the defense. If Bustos Achueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Gamones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vilson Rejon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Molinos Champion booed when Barcelona SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Ibero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Yturrondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gonzales Botejara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Barcelona SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Ibero to maneuver through the defense. If Cristobal Yturrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Felipez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzales Botejara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Cristobal Yturrondo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonzales Botejara, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

If Marcos Escapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Gamones's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilson Rejon was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Gonzales Botejara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Yturrondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristobal Yturrondo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gonzales Botejara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molinos Champion. Marcos Escapa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vilson Rejon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barcelona SC's Gonzales Botejara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Yturrondo in the 73rd minute of play. Molinos Champion's Vilson Rejon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Molinos Champion from getting a goal against them. Cristobal Yturrondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzales Botejara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Felipez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Escapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bustos Achueta charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bustos Achueta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Molinos Champion getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bustos Achueta hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcos Escapa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Escapa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilson Rejon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vilson Rejon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Gamones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barcelona SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
