Frutos Riero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavel Vielva came out and tried to block the shot, but Frutos Riero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Xulio Goztros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Illanas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Illanas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xulio Goztros having to interfere. Sharqui's Victorino Ceruelo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xuaco Pages kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Pavel Vielva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodriguez Yerro in the 20th minute. Ramon Celerain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pavel Vielva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Barbon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Illanas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xulio Goztros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sharqui's Pavel Vielva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sharqui from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute of the match Jerson Cera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xulio Goztros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xulio Goztros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Ceruelo in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to UD Churumanga getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Quintana Fonoll hit a great ball. Xulio Goztros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Ceruelo in the 36th minute of the match. Xulio Goztros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Ceruelo in the 38th minute of play. Frutos Riero had several of the Sharqui's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Pavel Vielva as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 47 minutes of play, Sharqui's Victorino Ceruelo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xulio Goztros was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Illanas to make the kick off. The long shot by Jerson Cera in the 57th minute really tested Xulio Goztros's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Victorino Ceruelo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Xulio Goztros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Victorino Ceruelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Ximen Echarriza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Churumanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Frutos Riero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ramon Celerain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xuaco Pages kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, UD Churumanga's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Illanas came free, but Xulio Goztros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Sharqui's Victorino Ceruelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xulio Goztros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 97 minutes into the match, UD Churumanga's goalkeeper Xulio Goztros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Ceruelo. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sharqui's goalkeeper Pavel Vielva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that UD Churumanga were the better team. UD Churumanga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
