Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antero Jatkola took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Cruz Azul's Zuñiga Miras got control of the ball when Raúl Abrego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mora Seda came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruz Azul's Azconzábal Retes. But to his dismay, Azconzábal Retes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Xelo Lobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zuñiga Miras saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 16 minutes into the game, Raúl Abrego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zuñiga Miras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mora Seda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antero Jatkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Namo were furious when Zornin Herencia was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 22nd match minute, Namo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zornin Herencia to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Cruz Azul's Domingo Muños tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raúl Abrego got free with Zuñiga Miras in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes, Cruz Azul's Omar Naveros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mora Seda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cruz Azul reached it. 33 minutes into the match, Namo's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Jatkola came free, but Mora Seda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Omar Naveros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mora Seda skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Cruz Azul's Zuñiga Miras got control of the ball when Raúl Abrego tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raúl Abrego made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Abrego in the 52nd minute of play forced Cruz Azul's goalkeeper Zuñiga Miras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mora Seda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Azconzábal Retes in the 57th minute. Mora Seda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antero Jatkola in the 58th minute of the match. Antero Jatkola was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 62nd minute, Azconzábal Retes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mora Seda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 65 minutes into the match, Namo's goalkeeper Mora Seda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azconzábal Retes. 67 minutes in the game, Angelo Gonzo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mora Seda having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, Angelo Gonzo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mora Seda. Angelo Gonzo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the last second Mora Seda throw himself and got hold of the ball when Antero Jatkola in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 77 played minutes Namo got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Abrego. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azconzábal Retes got free with Mora Seda in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgardo Baron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mora Seda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Cruz Azul booed when Namo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Euque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cruz Azul's Omar Naveros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mora Seda but with some difficulty. Mora Seda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antero Jatkola in the 92nd minute of the match. Eduardo Barria kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Namo's goal looked a bit too open when Antero Jatkola came free, but Mora Seda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruz Azul played a much better game than Namo and deserved their victory. The Namo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
