53 minutes into the match, Tunga's goal looked a bit too open when Ortíz Elizondo came free, but Esterilla Juaristi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Pablo Herce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tunga's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Herce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urki Cagigal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esterilla Juaristi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Echarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ortíz Elizondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esterilla Juaristi having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Echarri in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esterilla Juaristi saved Tunga from getting behind. Varon RED-C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
