After having played for 7 minutes, Juan Albar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hogwarts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Albar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Robles struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Urki Cagigal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hogwarts. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Juan Albar sped through Varon RED-C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Urki Cagigal. Urrutia Gabilondo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Juan Albar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Urki Cagigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Vistruario Asturiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varon RED-C and the Hogwarts players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Xzaver Logares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Urki Cagigal was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Juan Albar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Albar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Urraburu in the 29th minute of play forced Varon RED-C's goalkeeper Urki Cagigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovando Aristeguieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vistruario Asturiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Manuel Echarri notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Hogwarts's Ovando Aristeguieta. Ovando Aristeguieta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Albar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Albar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hogwarts's Aires Sarmanton got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Juan Albar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Urrutia Gabilondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Varon RED-C booed when Hogwarts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aires Sarmanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vistruario Asturiano kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Ovando Aristeguieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Echarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes of play, Hogwarts's Nunez Urraburu made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urki Cagigal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Juan Albar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urki Cagigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urki Cagigal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Urraburu in the 85th minute of the match. Urki Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Urraburu in the 86th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Juan Albar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varon RED-C's Urki Cagigal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Manuel Echarri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Varon RED-C booed when Hogwarts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aires Sarmanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, Varon RED-C's Vennancio Bengolea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovando Aristeguieta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Varon RED-C reached it. Lara Encia kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Varon RED-C got a freekick which was hit by Ortíz Elizondo. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hogwarts had played much better football throughout.
