But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calisto Clas couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Eliseo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Duarte Vasquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Zeilan FC got a freekick which was hit by Calisto Clas. 57 minutes into the match, Zeilan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Gener came free, but Duarte Vasquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Vasquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Serans in the 58th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, López Bocos put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of John Acuña. After 68 played minutes Zeilan FC got a freekick which was hit by George Azcoitia. Camilo Serans took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte Vasquez. Duarte Vasquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Zeilan FC's Agustin Mandelo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Chalá Graciosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duarte Vasquez. Zeilan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When López Bocos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Zeilan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that López Bocos couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes, Cotogchoa SC's Chalá Graciosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Vasquez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cotogchoa SC reached it. In the 80th minute Camilo Serans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Vasquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, López Bocos notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Cotogchoa SC's John Acuña. John Acuña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Cotogchoa SC's Denis Banzo got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 86 minutes, Agustin Mandelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zeilan FC and the Cotogchoa SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Mandelo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Americo Losua reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Duarte Vasquez. The goal made the score 4-3. Zeilan FC's Duarte Vasquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Serans in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zeilan FC had won after a very even match.
