Agustin Tofiño's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Obregón Esperta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Peter Careaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Marty hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A hard shot 28 in the game by Agustin Tofiño from a close distance when the talented Obregón Esperta managed to make a qualified save. Imperio's players were relieved. Manuel Vianes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José-Francisco Zuñiga in the 29th minute of the match. When Rosario Gou fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tornero Soldador's protests and gave Rosario Gou a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Imperio booed when Tornero Soldador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosario Gou didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Tornero Soldador's goal looked a bit too open when José-Francisco Zuñiga came free, but Manuel Vianes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obregón Esperta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Tofiño in the 37th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Imperio got a freekick which was hit by Díaz Magdaleno. In the 42nd minute Agustin Tofiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Obregón Esperta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agustin Tofiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obregón Esperta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Tofiño in the 46th minute of the match. Camilo Braojos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Vianes. Tornero Soldador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

José-Francisco Zuñiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Vianes having to interfere. Manuel Vianes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Careaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Marty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Obregón Esperta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José-Francisco Zuñiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Vianes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Careaga in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Agustin Tofiño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tornero Soldador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Tofiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Careaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
