After 13 minutes, Angel Barquerin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Blues's Salvador Errasti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC Blues defense, Angel Barquerin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Errasti. The FC Blues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Errasti should have stopped the shot. Xzavion Duran was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Blues! The supporters of FC Blues booed when LDUQ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. 洪洋明 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calderón Trarigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramirez Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Camilo Freijo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Salvador Errasti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Barquerin, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Yiyo Jugo had several of the LDUQ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Calderón Trarigo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zoil Repuente might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Errasti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoil Repuente ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angel Barquerin in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salvador Errasti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zoil Repuente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Angel Barquerin made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Blues defense, Angel Barquerin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Errasti. Salvador Errasti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Barquerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Angel Barquerin came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the LDUQ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Barquerin couldn't finish the play. LDUQ made a substitution. Javier Ason replaced Urbano Pelaez. FC Blues's Salvador Errasti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save FC Blues from getting a goal against them. Salvador Errasti made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Angel Barquerin sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, LDUQ's goal looked a bit too open when Ramirez Torres came free, but Calderón Trarigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Ochavarri charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Ochavarri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luis Ochavarri hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. LDUQ made a substitution. Omar Colas replaced 洪洋明. In the 85th minute, Luis Ochavarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramirez Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calderón Trarigo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LDUQ's Omar Colas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LDUQ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
