Paz Piñon struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Sandro Sisneros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Chimbiquiti. 9 minutes into the match, UD Teteve's goal looked a bit too open when Paz Piñon came free, but Sandro Sisneros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Urti Freijo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the CD Chimbiquiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urti Freijo couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes UD Teteve got a freekick which was hit by Romo Guereño. 16 minutes into the match, UD Teteve's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Reizabal came free, but Sandro Sisneros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Romo Guereño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xosepin Miruena lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 24th minute, one of CD Chimbiquiti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Chimbiquiti. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, UD Teteve's Alonzo Galguera got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wlodzimierz Olejarz. After a defensive mix-up in CD Chimbiquiti's zone, Urki Ramiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Olejarz came out of the goal and Urki Ramiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xicu Mercado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Sisneros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paz Piñon went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Paz Piñon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Sisneros having to make a save. Sandro Sisneros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paz Piñon, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Paz Piñon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xicu Mercado to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Escobar Alfebra managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Chimbiquiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Escobar Alfebra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Sisneros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escobar Alfebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Sisneros having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Paz Piñon managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Chimbiquiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Paz Piñon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Sisneros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 minutes, Escobar Alfebra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Chimbiquiti and the UD Teteve players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes CD Chimbiquiti got a freekick which was hit by Escobar Alfebra. After some careless play in the CD Chimbiquiti defense, Xicu Mercado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wlodzimierz Olejarz. The CD Chimbiquiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wlodzimierz Olejarz should have stopped the shot. If Vincente Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD Teteve's Urki Ramiro got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Escobar Alfebra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sandro Sisneros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Chimbiquiti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of UD Teteve booed when CD Chimbiquiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paz Piñon didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Chimbiquiti were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
