After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Klimovich Llorens managed to get in a good position for a shot. GMS's supporters rose to their feet, but Klimovich Llorens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Sisneros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klimovich Llorens to make the kick off. Zuzen Ceruelo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ortiz Mazule. Zeledon Cabada's late challenge caught a UD Teteve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Cabada helped the player get up and apologised. Zeledon Cabada kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
