Spectators: 6990 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Klimovich Llorens started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes CD Chimbiquiti got a freekick which was hit by Escobar Alfebra. 9 minutes into the game, Paz Lorencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GMS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Chimbiquiti the free kick. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GMS! In the 10th minute there was a penalty for CD Chimbiquiti. Alfonso Reizabal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zuzen Ceruelo. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilson Amenabar in the 22nd minute of play forced CD Chimbiquiti's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Olejarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, CD Chimbiquiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paz Piñon to maneuver through the defense. Cotera Reganado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wlodzimierz Olejarz having to make a save. If Urti Freijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paz Piñon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuzen Ceruelo having to interfere. When Urti Freijo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CD Chimbiquiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urti Freijo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in GMS's zone, Urti Freijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuzen Ceruelo came out of the goal and Urti Freijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Reizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urti Freijo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Zuzen Ceruelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wlodzimierz Olejarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klimovich Llorens in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urti Freijo to make the kick off. When Paz Lorencio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. Paz Lorencio hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Urti Freijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuzen Ceruelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuzen Ceruelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urti Freijo in the 70th minute of the match. When CD Chimbiquiti's Urti Freijo in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GMS's goalie prevented a goal. Urti Freijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zuzen Ceruelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Escobar Alfebra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When CD Chimbiquiti's Urti Freijo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GMS's goalie prevented a goal. Zuzen Ceruelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Reizabal in the 85th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Olejarz made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Vilson Amenabar sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Alfonso Reizabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuzen Ceruelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urti Freijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Urti Freijo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zuzen Ceruelo was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the CD Chimbiquiti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
