Xurxo Noriega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but James Azuela made a huge save. After having played for 58 minutes, Weterio Udobro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Weterio Udobro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Fox Sporting Club's James Azuela got control of the ball when Sergio Cabalar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Fox Sporting Club's Maximo Toyo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maximo Toyo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fox Sporting Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximo Toyo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fox Sporting Club! The goalkeeper, James Azuela, was totally fooled by Metra FC's Sergio Tariego, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Xurxo Noriega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fox Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Weterio Udobro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 89 minutes into the match, Fox Sporting Club's goalkeeper James Azuela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Cabalar. In the 90th minute, Juan Borras fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of James Azuela, passed just outside the right post. James Azuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Cabalar in the 99th minute.
