When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Robledo made a kick off. A collision led to Metra FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Delgado Quizan hit a great ball. Roberto Ocampo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogerio Carredano in the 53rd minute. Roberto Ocampo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Robledo in the 55th minute of the match. Metra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Tariego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Zucunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Noriega in the 87th minute of the match. Xurxo Noriega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damian Zucunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Noriega in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Metra FC's Sergio Cabalar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Zucunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Delgado Quizan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metra FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
