Juan-Angel Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. James Azuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurxo Marzana came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Fox Sporting Club's Vidal Lapenya. But to his dismay, Vidal Lapenya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vidal Lapenya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Xurxo Marzana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CD Pinto's Xurxo Marzana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save CD Pinto from getting a goal against them. Renán Chinchetru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Marzana having to interfere. Fox Sporting Club were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after CD Pinto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roris Cariga took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ramirez Gambo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 27 minutes into the match. Batista Aranzabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Azuela having to interfere. CD Pinto's Xurxo Marzana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save CD Pinto from getting a goal against them. Juan-Angel Abeita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but James Azuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Vidal Lapenya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan-Angel Abeita to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, CD Pinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Bailey to maneuver through the defense. Vidal Lapenya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xurxo Marzana having to interfere. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Pinto's goalkeeper Xurxo Marzana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Renán Chinchetru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xurxo Marzana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renán Chinchetru in the 68th minute of the match. Vidal Lapenya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xurxo Marzana having to make a save. Juan-Angel Abeita might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over James Azuela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan-Angel Abeita ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to CD Pinto getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ricardo Querejeta hit a great ball. After some careless play in the CD Pinto defense, Renán Chinchetru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xurxo Marzana. The CD Pinto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xurxo Marzana should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in CD Pinto's zone, Renán Chinchetru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurxo Marzana came out of the goal and Renán Chinchetru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xurxo Marzana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Lapenya in the 93rd minute of play. Claudio Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. James Azuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
