When Santos Ubach fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lechuga SC's protests and gave Santos Ubach a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Lechuga SC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Ubach. With a little luck, Lechuga SC's Urdaspal Ocasio got control of the ball when Urtats Barbanera tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Jovita's Roberto Herrara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urdaspal Ocasio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bagui Toraño received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urdaspal Ocasio came out and tried to block the shot, but Bagui Toraño slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Guagua Casadevante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Venceslao Arredondo. Jovita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guagua Casadevante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Macua during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Lechuga SC's goal looked a bit too open when Bagui Toraño came free, but Urdaspal Ocasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Blas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Herrara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Urdaspal Ocasio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roberto Herrara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Urdaspal Ocasio made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The Jovita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 55th minute Bagui Toraño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urdaspal Ocasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guagua Casadevante kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lechuga SC's Santos Ubach got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes, Jovita's Urtats Barbanera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Urdaspal Ocasio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jovita reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Herrara in the 77th minute of play forced Lechuga SC's goalkeeper Urdaspal Ocasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vitin Dolarea fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Jovita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
