Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Neicer Cañizares started the match with the kick off. German Cembraña made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Nando Jalon sent off a good shot on target. German Cembraña was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Virgilio Mujica. After a defensive mix-up in Chuquir's zone, Ubendu Lezcano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Cembraña came out of the goal and Ubendu Lezcano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Méndez Faubelo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Chuquir's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Maruca came free, but German Cembraña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neicer Cañizares in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neicer Cañizares in the 20th minute of play forced Celtic F. C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilio Calvon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bernardo Barrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Maruca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Cembraña having to interfere. German Cembraña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Maruca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubendu Lezcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. German Cembraña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Maruca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Cembraña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Xaiver Liendo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xaiver Liendo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xaiver Liendo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Chuquir got a freekick which was hit by Cumbicus Zotillo. Virgilio Mujica, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Celtic F. C.'s Ubendu Lezcano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Cembraña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuquir's goalkeeper German Cembraña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. German Cembraña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Maruca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Celtic F. C. defense, Teofilio Calvon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Barrera. The Celtic F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Barrera should have stopped the shot. When Mario Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Celtic F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Ferreira couldn't finish the play. After having played for 69 minutes, Teofilio Calvon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuquir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilio Calvon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Celtic F. C.'s Ubendu Lezcano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that German Cembraña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Ubendu Lezcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Cembraña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Graciosa's late challenge caught a Celtic F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Graciosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76thth minute of the game Daniel Maruca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuquir's German Cembraña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubendu Lezcano in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Cembraña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Maruca during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Celtic F. C.'s Daniel Maruca got a free kick in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neicer Cañizares in the 84th minute of play forced Celtic F. C.'s goalkeeper Bernardo Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Chuquir got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Gostioz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubendu Lezcano in the 89th minute of play forced Chuquir's goalkeeper German Cembraña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chuquir's goalkeeper German Cembraña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Chuquir's Juan Cue seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Juan Cue the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chuquir protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Juan Cue had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 91st minute, one of Chuquir:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chuquir. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Celtic F. C.. Virgilio Mujica stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving German Cembraña. 1-2. The Chuquir players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
